McAfee の調査によると .hk が一番危険な TLD で、その次が .cn、それに .ph、.ro、.ru が続くという。一方、安全な TLD が、.fi、.jp、.no そして .co (Colombia) らしい。(え、コロンビア？)
まぁ、記事中でも "…, but the methodology it's based upon is far from flawless." と書かれていて、過剰なポップアップをウィルス配布活動と見なしてるようだからあまり上記の「ランキング」は信用できないけど、話のネタ程度には面白いかも。
